NetContent (NC) limits the number of hits to your page only through static pre-production. For the rest, the maximum number of hits is defined by the hardware in use. NC's software itself is only taking up small space of your hardware resources. NC is non-platform-dependant and works on all standard hardware. Adjustments to manage web traffic can be made also during normal operations.
- Newsfeed Support:
NC supports all widely used formats, e.g. nitf20/30, newsml, dpa-select, newsknowledge, press association, and many more.
- Import & Export:
Your XML files will be uploaded through NC's universal import module. Due to the complete division of layout and content, NC enables you to upload your data repeatedly and to export it into various formats (HTML, XML, SMS, PDF, WAP, RDF, RSS, TXT as well as provider-defined ones).
- Code Support:
NC works with all of the widespread Internet code languages, such as HTML, DTHML, XHTML, XML, WAP, PHP, Perl, JavaScript, ASP, and Java. Apart from the aforementioned, functional extensions are possible within the framework of NC's template administration.
- Modules:
NC as an enterprise content management system offers additional features that may be of interest not only for publishers: - An e-paper module with PDF upload with an intuitive user interface - Comments/feedback functions for every individual article - Blog system offering spooling for all posted comments - Online shop including micro-payment and PayPal interface.
